"The grounds are beautiful as well as the beaches and the water. The seaweed is bad but they do their best to clean the beaches every night. They said it was worse now due to the season. Tons of bar options but not too many lunch day options. Food is pretty good for all inclusive, but there is nothing that’s fantastic. Shows at night are fun as well as the casino. It’s one of the better all inclusive resorts we’ve stayed at."

"Absolutely loved staying at the Excellence Punta Cana. The property has several pool and bar options, friendly staff, and daily scheduled activities. The beach is close by and the concierge is readily available. I highly recommend eating at the French and Japanese restaurant. The food and service will not disappoint. There are a few things that I would recommend that the hotel communicate to guests: 1. The hotel does not offer straws so be prepared to drink directly from glasses. I am ended up buying my own cup from the gift shop. I would recommend that the resort purchases paper straws. Drinking from a glass in this Covid-19 season is not sanitary. 2. Please update the menu at The Grill, Lobster House, and the Kitchen. The food was sub par and not at all good. 3. Room service was absolutely disgusting. Better options are needed. Overall, it was a great vacation!"
